The Long Beach Antique Swapmeet

I wanted to make a quick post about the Long Beach Antique Swapmeet. I really love going and I hope I can find something similar in Portland. It is held by the Boeing facility in Long Beach every third Sunday of the month, and you better believe I mark it on my calendar. Not only is it shopping, but it's selective, specialized, nostalgic shopping. You can get genuine treasures for under ten dollars, and you can be fleeced for hundreds. My only advice is go with a shrewed disposition and an attitude ready for haggling!

You should have seen this colored glass sparkling in the sunlight...it was truly beautiful.
