Ah, this was such an oasis for Mom and I. We had had a very busy morning, packing and getting ready to dive to Pasco, WA for my interview at Tyson Foods. We were hungry and tired and needed some TLC, so Jan McMahon suggested the Columbia River Gorge Hotel for dinner. It was on our way and neither Mom or I had been there, so we called and made dinner reservations. Man, were we ever glad we stopped! I quickly snapped some pictures before the sun set.

"No really, Mom be serious! Pretend your a princess, keeping watch on the Columbia for Viking ships or something. Yeah, no, that's good...You never know, the Vikings could have come up this way....Hold still...."
