We were totally obvious, too. Mom and I both walking around Times Square, squealing and pointing. Oh, well, we fit into a stereotype of our own, just like most of the New Yorkers we met....Here are a few shots of the city that I took from a speeding tour shuttle!!!
Mom in Times Square goin' gangsta!
I took this picture for Steven. The Charmin commercials really gross him out for some reason, so when we saw this billboard, we laughed and thought of him...
Radio City Music Hall...
Rockefeller Center....
Grand Central Station's Holiday Keliediscope Light Show, it was very cool...
of course, the Empire State Building!
Here I am in Brooklyn in front of the Manhattan Skyline. Really touristy, but I look cute...
We also stopped by Ground Zero. They call it the big bathtub because as of right now, it just looks like this big whole in the middle of the city. We went inside a large office building adjacent to the site in order to look down into it. Here is a picture of the lobby, it was very impressive...
Here is a model of what will be built on the site by 2010.
